Welcome to Nashville Shambhala!

We are a community of meditators who are exploring our own basic goodness through meditation and studying the dharma.  We invite you to spark your heart and mind through the practice of meditation.

All are welcome, as we embrace our diversity and our basic goodness as humans.  It is our meditation practice that unites us.

If you are new to meditation we offer instruction on Sundays at 10 am and on Wednesdays at 7 pm.  We’d love to meet you!

Visit our membership page for more about being a Nashville Shambhala member.

What is Shambhala?

Shambhala Vision is rooted in the principle that every human being has a fundamental nature of basic goodness. This nature can be developed in daily life so that it radiates out to family, friends, community and society.  Together we gather to create enlightened society!

New to Shambhala?

Shambhala is an international community of urban meditation and rural retreat centers founded by the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and now led by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Learn about our vision, lineage & community. More →
